So, a few weeks ago I posted about some exciting news. And it can finally be revealed: Frantic Puppets are back!

When I found those cassettes among my grandmother’s things after she died, I thought those were the only recordings left. And they were the only recordings of the songs for their first two albums.

After the fire destroyed Western Soundworks in 1986, the members of the band decided it was a sign and went their separate ways. Most of them got married and had kids and jobs and stuff.

But they kept in touch, and Eric kept writing more songs. Obviously, everyone was too busy to get the band back together and try to go on tour or whatever. But every few years, they would get together for a week and jam out. They’d play some of their old stuff and some of the new stuff Eric wrote. And Eric taped a bunch of what they played.

So I’ve been going through the tapes, using AI tools to clean up and enhance the recordings.

Which means there’s a new Frantic Puppets album: One Touch, One Kiss. And it’s available now!

Here are the tracks:

  1. Let the Drum Beat
  2. Voltage
  3. Hold Me Close Again
  4. What I’m Missing
  5. Brimming With Light
  6. One Touch, One Kiss
  7. Rising Storms
  8. Again In Love I Fall
  9. With The Night Hot
  10. In A Breath
  11. Rumor Of Love
